ADEX Ocean Vision Beach Clean Up

In commemoration of World Oceans Day 2022 and the United Nations launched the Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development, the Asia Dive Expo (ADEX) will be organising a beach clean-up session on 8 June 2022 at Changi Beach Park. All are welcomed to join us in this meaningful project to help contribute to a more sustainable environment. Details of the event are as follow:

Venue: Changi Beach Park (Assembly point: Carpark 1)
Date: 8 June 2022
Time: 9a.m. – 12p.m.
Programme outline:
9a.m. – Assemble at Changi Beach Park Carpark 1
9.30a.m. – Start of beach clean-up
11.30a.m. – End of beach clean-up, Quantifying of litter collected
12p.m. – Dismissal

The event is free for all to join and logistics required for the clean-up will be provided by us. Participants can look forward to a sharing from our sponsors after the clean-up too. Free gifts will also be given to all participants, which include:
– Asian Geographic Blue Green 360 magazine (No.148) worth SGD10
– Asian Diver Infographic magazine (No. 161) worth SGD10
– Asian Geographic umbrella worth SGD25
– A.M Aesthetics Active Lifting Sunscreen Mist

IMPORTANT Update on ADEX World Oceans Week Beach Clean Up 2022

Thank you for registering for ADEX World Oceans Week Beach Clean Up event, we appreciate your earnest effort to make a difference for our beaches and the waters!

However, due to unforeseen circumstances that resulted in ADEX not being able to conduct the beach clean up at Sentosa on the 11 June 2022, the team had decided to do the clean up at Changi Beach Park instead. The updated details are confirmed as follow:

We sincerely apologise for the change in event date and venue, and we understand that participants who have registered for the clean up session at Sentosa might not be able to attend the event at Changi Beach Park. However, we would still like to honour some of the free gifts that were promised in the sign-up process.

Participants who are unable to join us at the event at Changi Beach Park on 8 June 2022 are still welcomed to collect your free copies of Asian Geographic Blue Green 360 magazine No.148 (worth SGD10) and Asian Diver Infographic magazine No. 161 (worth SGD10) on one of the days of our ADEX Asia Dive Expo held on 16 to 18 September 2022, at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre. Free registration for the expo is available at https://tinyurl.com/adexoceanvision2022. No further action is required to cancel your registration for the event.

For participants who are able to join us at Changi Beach Park on 8 June 2022, you can get there via car/taxi or public buses 109, 19, 2, 58, 89, 9. All logistics will still be provided by ADEX, and free gifts will still be given out during the event. Simply flash the event acknowledgement email that was sent to you previously to us on 8 June at Changi Beach Park to participate in the event, no re-registration is needed.
