OCEAN CLEAN UP
at
ADEX Sabah Ocean Partnership Summit 2023

In conjunction with the ADEX SABAH OCEAN PARTNERSHIP SUMMIT 2023, a new type of ocean hero will emerge to actively seek and remove plastics, debris and abandoned fishing nets and other waste polluting our waters.

ADEX Sabah Ocean Partnership Summit 2023 presents an extraordinary ocean cleanup event where ADEX Ambassador HIDY YU, will lead a dedicated team of scuba divers, volunteers, and environmental organizations.

On 20 August 2023, for a remarkable 23-hour period, they will tirelessly work in the waters surrounding the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), diligently removing plastics, ghost nets, debris, and other pollutants from the ocean. Equipped with specialized gear, their mission is to rid the marine ecosystem of these harmful elements, ensuring minimal impact during the cleanup process. Once retrieved, the collected items will be properly disposed of, recycled, or repurposed, minimizing any further harm.

Join us as we unite in our commitment to protect our oceans. Together, we can make a lasting impact and create a brighter future for marine life. Dive in and be a part of this extraordinary ocean cleanup event!
