The pressing issue of the “Impact of Over Diving on Eco Systems,” will highlight the detrimental effects of excessive diving activities and advocating for responsible diving practices.

Dr. Anuar Abdullah, founder of Ocean Quest Global, has been involved in coral conservation since 1981. His projects have been implemented in over fifty locations worldwide. He is known for inventing the patented coral catalyst, a key component of an organic coral propagation system. In 2013, he became the Coral Reef Ambassador for Asian Dive Expo (ADEX) and introduced the coral propagation system for Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. He also collaborated with the Marine National Park Operation Center to rehabilitate Maya Bay in Thailand from 2018 to 2022. Recently, he has expanded his focus to Blue Economy and Sustainability projects in the Arabian Sea, establishing a coral nursery in the sub-tropical Red Sea through Ocean Quest Egypt.
