• Above 18 years old;
• Upholds any certification of Underwater Dance/ Mermaid/ Freedive, of any certification recognized system;
• First 30 applicants will be accepted on first come first served

Competition Contents

Preliminary Round (Tank)

• Situated on first 2 days of expo, e., 23-24 November 2023.
• Contestants will be required to perform a three-minute (03) time frame underwater
• Compulsory underwater dance moves include:
  • Leap – Angelic – Aptitude – Sitting Down – Lying Down – Crying Baby- Passe
• Handheld props and costumes are
• Contestants performing without mask, nose clip and weights will score higher
• Judging criteria includes technique, costume design and aesthetic
• Music will be provided by ADEX.
• 10 contestants will progress to the semi-finals.

Semi-Finals (Tank)

• Situated on third day of expo, e., 25 November 2023.
• Each semi-finalist is allocated with five (05) minutes for their performance in the
• Contestants are required to select their own music to enhance their
• Performance timing begins with the announcement of the contestant’s name, allowing for pre-water choreographed
