Matt is an experienced technical diver and instructor trainer having studied with some of the world’s best, and has worked as a full time instructor since 1999 and a technical instructor since 2002 in some enviable locations around the globe. Based in the Philippines since 2003 Matt has made the country his full time home with his wife Anna and 2 daughters.
As the co-owner of Evolution, a full service, dive-focused resort located on Malapascua island, Matt spends most of his time training and guiding technical divers in his specialty area of technical and rebreather diving. In addition to exploring the deep walls and wrecks of the area, Matt also spearheads his teams conservation focus, leading the resort to be awarded multiple times as a highly environmentally conscious dive operator by the global Reef World charity
