Anita Verde is one half of the duo at Summits to Seas Photography and is a published underwater and landscape photographer and freelance writer with a passion for the underwater world. Based in Melbourne, Australia and with a professional background in tourism strategy, brand management and marketing, when she is not on a mountaintop or underwater, she also works professionally in her private consultancy business K2 Group alongside her husband and business partner Peter Marshall, advising governments and the tourism industry on sustainable destination planning and development, investment attraction, government relations, brand strategy and marketing.

Peter is the other half of the duo at Summits to Seas Photography and is a published underwater and landscape photographer with a passion for the underwater world. Based in Melbourne, Australia and with a long professional career as a senior executive in Local Government and the private sector, when he is not on a mountaintop or underwater, he also works professionally in his private consultancy business K2 Group, advising governments and the private sector on: government relations, investment attraction, property development, planning and sustainability.

One of the world’s most accomplished and celebrated cave divers and underwater explorers, Jill Heinerth is a Pioneering technical diver and Award-winning filmmaker whose has been privileged to travel deep into the most exquisite and untouched corners of the earth on a life-long journey of discovery and adventure.
A role model whose achievements, writings and images have encouraged thousands to step out of their comfort zone, Jill Heinerth’s many accolades and Awards include induction into The Explorer’s Club of New York and the inaugural class of the Women Diver’s Hall of Fame; and being awarded the inaugural, Sir Christopher Ondaatje Medal for Exploration by the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, who later made her their First Explorer-in-Residence.

Born in the UK but Canadian by choice, Steve Lewis is a diver, writer, columnist, speaker and coach with an over-riding interest in diver safety. An early convert to technical diving as a valid tool for cave and wreck exploration, Steve is a recipient of the prestigious, ‘International Sheck Exley Award’ for Cave Diving Safety; a Staff Instructor and Member of the Training and Advisory Panel for TDI; Director of Diver Training for RAID, and a proud Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society

A former Instructor Trainer and Certifier with a background in Military, Commercial, Recreational and Technical Diving, David has authored several hundred dive-related articles. The ADEX Ambassador for Technical Diving, Pioneer, he is a recipient of the ADEX Lifetime Achievement Award and a Fellow of The Explorers Club of New York.

#1 Photography

Photography requires a keen eye for detail and a good set of photography equipment. Good photography requires patience. Experienced photographers and individuals alike come together, either in a panel format or a single presentation, to share their breathtaking shots in the deep blue. Marvel at their photographic feats every month and even pick up a photography secret or two!

 

#2 Regular Session

Every month, we’re joined by industry experts and game changers who actively immerse themselves into the exciting world of diving. Our speakers will put forward their unique perspectives and their personal anecdotes on the unpredictable dive industry as well as their favourite dive destinations. Get decked up for your next dive and come join us in these sessions happening every month — you never know what you might discover next!

 

#3 DiveTraining

The session will cover the vast world of diving, from essential skills and techniques to crash courses on dive safety to the challenging art of deep breathing. Joined by qualified dive masters, don’t miss out on learning from the pros! Regardless of your dive proficiency, this monthly session is great for refining your skills and picking up new diving tips and tricks along the way.

 

#4 Animal behaviour

Every month, ADEX Pixel invites a speaker to explore the fascinating kingdom of Animalia! Covering mating behaviours, migration patterns, and the many such peculiarities of animals, this session is a great informative introduction to the natural world. Whether you’re a student, a diver, or just an avid animal enthusiast, join us every month for an exciting session with the experts!

 

#5 BlueGreen360

The oceans have fallen prey to the talons of climate change and we’re doing our part in making a change. Happening every month, come hear about what ocean activists and industry players have to say about the current climate. The challenges faced by communities and the inventive efforts in place to alleviate the crisis are some of the concerning topics discussed during these sessions.

 

#6 In Conversation with David Strike

The charming David Strike graces us in this enthralling monthly series — In Conversation with David Strike. David invites to the session some of the diving world’s most distinguished individuals from all over the world. There’s never a dull moment with David and his guests as they embark on a compelling conversation surrounding their dive portfolio, that’s undoubtedly bursting at the seams.
