ALBERTO MORENO (SPAIN)
Born in Barcelona, Spain, Albert Moreno always had a dream of becoming a world class kitesurfer. Spending his childhood summers by the sea, he began windsurfing at the age of eight. From there he went on to kiteboarding and hasn't looked back since. In 2016 he became the European record holder for the biggest wave kite-surfed. Moreno is currently on a journey to become a top kiteboarder and is preparing for the World Kite Tour 2017/18 wave events. His current sponsors are Airush International, Prolimit and GoPro.
ASIM MOHAMED FULHU (MALDIVES)
Asim Mohamed Fulhu is the owner and founder of Maafushi Dive and Water Sports Centre in Maldives. He started diving and dipped in various water sports from a tender age of 10. He is now a PADI ICD Staff instructor and also a qualified fly board and kite surfing instructor. He leads a team of 18 staff that includes dive instructors, dive masters and water sports instructors and guides. A believer in training and employing locals, he initiated an internship program for Maldivians as a part of his support in training the local community
ROBBY JAMES (SINGAPORE)
Robby has competed in a number of KTA (Kiteboard Tour Asia) events where he competes professionally at the same level as the men and he is the number 1 junior in racing. Kiteboarding is a unique sport where juniors can compete at the same level as the men, as they are not restricted by strength and size. Robby is on a journey, where his real goal is to win and make history by winning the first ever Olympic Medal in the Youth Olympics, Buenos Aires, Argentina 2018 for Singapore, where there will be Kiteboarding racing for the first time. What is remarkable is that Robby only started kiteboarding a year ago and already a sponsored team rider for a top brand.
